In just a few short years, IrieFuse has already been fortunate to bring their energetic and unique live performances to some of the largest and most respected reggae festivals such as California Roots in 2014 and the legendary Reggae on the River in 2015, amongst a host of other festivals and club dates up and down the West Coast including California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and New Mexico. Their debut EP, Sun is Rising, was released in June 2013. Their first full-length album Give & Get Back was released on April 5, 2015. They are getting ready to release 3 new singles in early 2017. Out of the streets of San Jose is a sound like an all consuming fire about to light up the Reggae Rock scene. Yeshua & The Hightones bring the heat to their performances that leaves audiences invigorated. Lead vocalist Yeshua propels the band, weaving in and out of songs with his intense vocal range. Drums heighten the vibrations, hyping us up for the Santana-esque guitar solos which captivate the audience along with haunting bass lines and the mesmerizing saxophone. The Hightones embody the spirit of Roots in their culture with their latin influenced sound, but ultimately, they pay tribute to Reggae. San Jose is a melting pot of different cultures with a thriving Latin Community that stands proud to support these young men towards their goal of spreading positivity through music. Yeshua & The Hightones know how to rock out a small bar as if they’re in front of thousands. The pure charisma on stage draws people in like a moth to the flame. Remember it only takes a little flame to light a whole city on fire. This band has an enormous sound and its only a matter of time before the whole West Coast is lit up.
